Can we run different setups? or are we restricted to one common setup.

Last year me and my team mate had different setups, so yeah if you just name them the same I think you should be right.

I wouldnt Guarrantee it.
I am going in with the idea of Myself and Greens-Tuf-JFF using exactly the same setup.
After last years Peter Brock Memorial when we found just having the same name doen't guarrantee a shared setup

It can be done.
This is from Xfactor and was used successfully in the Bathurst Enduro so you will need to modify for Sandown.
If I get a chance i will modify post with the correct addresses, work laptop atm.

1. Start a offline session @ bathurst.
2. Load race setup.
3. Save as "BathurstAI".
4. Assign the setup.
5. Exit game.
6. Open setups directory. (rFactor\UserData\***username***\Settings\Bathurst)
7. Right click BathurstAI.svm and select copy.
8. Paste file into these two locations. (rFactor\GameData\Vehicles\ORSM) & (rFactor\GameData\Vehicles\ORSM\V8factor11)

Guys, as we are getting closer to the event I thought it worthwhile to post something about hotswapping.

If you have not done an enduro with multiple drivers before you should read this. If you fuck it up in game your car could be left driverless and no-one can help you.

Another reason to test is some differences with PCs.
I was testing with Hopey today and whenever he took control the speed limiter was not engaged in pits (meaning he would get penalised if he held the throttle on the change). In my case the speed limiter was engaged.
We tested this several times and there is no good explanation so all I can say is TEST THIS OUT!!
Better 15 minutes of testing than a drive-through penalty on the day.

Also just to clarify. It's not hotswapping it's normal driver swap. Hotswapping can be done on track whereas a normal driver swap can only be done on a pit stop.

I didnt realise there was two ways to do this?
I thought the only way to swap was to do a hotswap whilst in pit lane?

Oh, that is something else important I found out tonight.
If you do a hotswap while the car is being serviced it will stop being serviced and will not get the fuel / tires.

Yes it is needed to be set correctly on the server so hotswapping is not allowed.

I saw it earlier, when you request the pit you need to scroll down on the lcd and change the driver, and it changes you automatically as long as the second driver is in the 'passenger' seat

guys make sure you are using Passenger swap, not hotswap. There is a major difference for this.

The server is or should be set to passenger swap only which is & only can be done during a pitsops.

Also a big notice point is once you have selected the qually driver and qually has finished, your team MUST NOT DO ANY SWAPS AT ALL until after the race has started. This will effect the start of the race and your swapping for and during the race.

Was just online testing everything is working with the skins etc, all works good except the Angry Birds car looks really weird on track and in pits, there are lines all over it, if I exit the game back to menu and look at the car on the spinner it looks how it should...

Any ideas?

I've installed the skin pack v1.2 and the patch.

I think this is because I saved the cars without using "MipMaps" those with AMD graphics will be fine, but those with nVidia cards have this problem.

If it's not too much of a PITA for Scotty to fix and patch it should all be good.
