Re: Peter Brock Memorial -- Bathurst 161 Laps
Well I'm getting lapped out now, I wanted to do 1 1/2 stints a night (35 laps) to keep my hand in but i'm all done I think, I've learnt the track and know every pitfall, I know just when to run 11's and how to do 9's if needed, I'm a "know it all" when it comes to this track.
I know when the other guy is doing it wrong and the lap he will hit the wall. And I know it all will prolly mean nothing on the day as I will smash the car up first lap and put us out of the race, Ive done 400 laps without touching anything and can run 9 flat for 13 laps if needed, I'm like the guy in Bourne Identity who knows he can run 1/2 mile at 2000ft before he gets puffed.
As a high midfielder I should do well in my stints but I won't, the universal laws as we know will come into play..but it has been fun, I suppose I could hotlap but it's pointless and mostly just slower overall. Anyway just a rant.
After all this my advice is, don't hit anything or spin out, be happy with 2.11's as a fast safe race pace. I'll be doing 11.5's every lap if I can with the odd stint at 10.5's if needed.
DO NOT race anyone the first 7 laps, you will hit something/someone, just settle in and see what the others race pace is and get the brain working, you will only lose 40 seconds at most and this is nothing in a good undamaged car over 6 hours, or they would have got you anyway if they are faster.

I have put mind in and it worked no issue.
Maybe the skin pack became corrupted on download?
Maybe try re download and install again.
I did have a skin pack fail to work over night once as I logged in to race
And had to reload it.

Hey Metal,
Thanx for the heads up about the server mate, I don't know how they got they server password but if i find out someone gave it to them they will be removed from the up coming event and have their JFF account banned,
I have already changed password once due to this issue and dont wish to do it again but may have too,
Rotax has now been Banned from the server but mick left in a hurry, Does anybody know who Rotax , Mick or any of the other offenders are, They must belong to a league or have affiliates with a league some where.
Sorry guys not real happy about this.

Re: Peter Brock Memorial -- Bathurst 161 Laps
The password being in the Thread could be an issue ?

Re: Peter Brock Memorial -- Bathurst 161 Laps
Maybe just pm the password instead.
Keep it away from the riff raff.
On a more positive note, great skins everyone.
The grid is gonna look tops. Well done.

Guys the live racers link will be down until tonight when I update it.
As the server display is now under JFF racing.
You can still it by selecting our server in the drop down serve list on the main page at live racers.

They are 2 brothers who live in Sydney, met them once around 5 years ago, before they turned into arseholes I guess.
Rotax is Dazza and Sonic is his brother Mick. They have raced at a few different clubs, V8-Sol is where I met them I think and EAO where Sonic was a member and Rotax had the tag CKR. Thats about all I can help with.
But as far as getting the password is concerned no idea. I would do a new password and send to only the registered racers competing.
Then on the night a new password is given out on TS.
I think I can find Rotax's old mobile number if need be...might come in Handy I know the number he had for me has changed
